Mango Sago

Appetizer

Creamy, refreshing, and bursting with tropical flavor, this mango sago is made with sweet ripe mangoes, chewy sago pearls, and a rich, silky coconut milk base. Served chilled, it’s the perfect light dessert for warm days and a delicious way to satisfy your sweet tooth with every spoonful.


Ingredients

  • 4 ripe mangos 
  • 400 ml Coconut cream 
  • 1Ib Coconut jelly 
  • 1 cup Milk 
  • 1 ½ cup Tapioca pearls 
  • ⅓ cup Condensed milk (can be more/less depends on sweetness level)

Instructions

  1. Add 10 cups of water into a pot  
  2. Let water boil then add tapioca pearls and stir on medium heat (Tip: stir continuously to keep from sticking to the bottom of pan) 
  3. Stir for 10-12 minutes until cooked (Tip: If pearls are translucent then its cooked) 
  4. Drain and rinse with cold water until its cool to the touch 
  5. Cut the mangos into cubes
  6. In a large bowl, add pearls, mango, coconut cream, milk and jelly (Can add more condensed milk for more sweetness) 
  7. Add in some ice cubes and stir
