These chocolate oatmeal cookies are soft, chewy, and packed with rich chocolate flavor and hearty oats. They’re the perfect homemade treat for satisfying your sweet tooth, whether you’re enjoying them with a glass of milk or sharing them with family and friends.
Ingredients
- 1 ripe mashed banana
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/3 cup chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup chopped peanuts
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the mashed banana, peanut butter and maple syrup
- Stir in oats
- Fold in chocolate chips and peanuts
- Spray baking pan or use a baking sheet to keep from sticking
- Scoop and flatten
- Bake in oven for 10-15 minutes at 350F
- Remove from oven, add sea salt (optional)
